Background Information
This competition is primarily aimed at Churches/Church grounds within your parish/locality. It can involve the local community/organizations/parishes etc within your locality to bring ideas together and help create a DISPLAY (for all to enjoy)
How to Enter!!
You are asked to create a display using the theme "History in Bloom"
You are asked to create a display using the above theme, and also conveying any significant historical story or artefacts that your community are proud of. The display may be prepared by the local flower arranger in your church, or you may invite the local flower club to create a display or the local schools, mother & toddler groups, local active retirement groups or any active community group in your parish.
Judging:
Judging of this competition will take place from Monday 20th to Friday 24th August.
Prizes:
1st prize: €400
2nd prize: €300
3rd prize: €200
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place in October 2012. The winners will be presented with their prize on the night of the awards.
