Pride of Place Strong in County Meath
On Friday last, 17th October 2008, hundreds of volunteers descended on Warrenstown College for a night of celebration for the 6th Annual Pride of Place Awards.
The Pride of Place Initiatives is a series of competitions, run by Meath County Council, encouraging local people to buy into the simple but powerful idea that people can make a difference to their own areas, and make them a better place to live, work and to visit.
