GUTH GAFA Taster Screenings continue this Thursday evening Sept 3rd at 7.30pm at Duke Bros, Market Street, Kells with AN HONEST LIAR, the riveting story of a world-famous magician who has made it his life mission to expose the con artists in the trade.
AN HONEST LIAR was one of the most popular films at last year's Guth Gafa festival. The film brings to life James 'The Amazing' Randi’s intricate investigations that publicly exposed psychics, faith healers, and con-artists with quasi-religious fervour. But when a shocking revelation in Randi’s personal life is discovered, it isn’t clear whether Randi is still the deceiver – or the deceived.
Doors open at 7pm and the film starts at 7.30pm . Entrance to the screening, with a glass of wine & some refreshments costs just €5!
And in keeping with the spirit of Guth Gafa, Tyler Measom, the film’s co-director/producer, will be ‘joining’ us live via Skype from the US after the screening for some audience questions.
There will also be a chance on the night to win some tickets to the 2015 festival 2-4 Oct!
