Guth Gafa taster evenings continue this thursday 17th Sept with - Donor Unknown

Date Released: 16 September 2015

This Thursday evening we are proud to present Donor Unknown as our Taster Screening at Duke Bros. This unmissable film, by Jerry Rothwell, one of the great friends of Guth Gafa who featured in our 2010 programme, follows the riveting story of JoEllen Marsh (20) as she goes in search of the sperm donor father she only knows as Donor 150. Over time, 12 more half siblings emerged across the US. Director Rothwell will be joining us via Skype at the end of the screening so it promises to be an exciting event!

Doors open at 7pm at Duke Bros, Market St, Kells, for screening at 7.30pm. Pre screening glass of wine and film: €5.

Additionally we would like to invite all our Thursday Taster Screening attendees and regulars to sign up for our Guth Gafa Pink Ribbon Walk team! We plan on attending the local walk to aid in breast cancer research on Sunday the 27th at 2PM (warm up at 1:30PM) and would like to organize a group to go together. Please let us know by Thursday's screening as we will have sign up forms there on the day. Registration costs €20 and they encourage personal fundraising to donate to the cause. We will also offer our Guth Gafa T-shirts at 50% off to anyone walking with us on the day so get your festival shirt early and save!

Many thanks and we look forward to seeing you this Thursday.
