Have your say in Meath Arts - Meath County Council Arts Office is developing the county's third County Arts Plan and is carrying out a county-wide survey regarding the arts

Date Released: 27 November 2015

What are the Arts?

Under the Arts Act 2003, the Arts are defined as - ‘‘any creative or interpretative expression (whether traditional or contemporary) in whatever form, and includes, in particular, visual arts, theatre, literature, music, dance, opera, film, circus and architecture, and includes any medium when used for those purposes;”

The County Arts Plan is a strategic document, dealing with arts development issues at a countywide level. It will include broad objectives and identify specific actions to achieve those objectives.
