Traffic / Roads Update - Meath County Council hereby gives notice of intention to temporarily close the following roads to through traffic for the dates specified in order to facilitate road restoration works at Railway level crossings - Local Access will be facilitated at all times

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS TO FACILITATE ROAD RESTORATION WORKS AT RAILWAY LEVEL CROSSINGS
Meath County Council hereby gives notice of intention to temporarily close the following roads to through traffic for the dates specified in order to facilitate road restoration works at Railway level crossings.
1) L34061-19 Leggagh
Period of Road Closure
The proposed closure will take place from 8.00a.m. on 6th June to 6.00p.m. on 7th June. 2017.
Alternative routes
The road will be closed from the R162 junction at Darby’s Cross to the L34061-19/ L3407-21 cross roads. Diversion signage to local roads via Knightstown cross will be in place.
2) L7412 Grange
Period of Road Closure
The proposed closure will take place from 8.00a.m. on 8th June to 6.00p.m. on 9th June, 2017.
Alternative routes
The road will be closed from the R162 junction at Grange to Castletown Village. Diversion signage to local roads via Mullen’s Cross will be in place.
3) L74023 Kilmainhamwood
Period of Road Closure
The proposed closure will take place from 8.00a.m. on 12th June to 6.00p.m. on 13th June, 2017.
Alternative routes
The road will be closed from the R162 junction at Whitewood Cross roads to Boynagh cross roads in Kilmainhamwood. Diversion signage to local roads via Poles cross road will be in place.
Local Access will be facilitated at all times. Objections to the proposed temporary closures should be made in writing, to the District Engineer, Kells Civic Offices, Headfort Place, Kells, Co. Meath not later than 5.00p.m. Friday, 19th May, 2017.
