Traffic / Roads Update - Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the Regional Road r898-0 (Castle Street), Trim, Co. Meath. This road closure is required to facilitate the holding of The King John’s Summer Prom at Trim Castle in Trim, Co. Meath - the road closure will be from 6:00p.m. to 11:59p.m. on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd July, 2017.

Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the Regional Road r898-0 (Castle Street), Trim, Co. Meath. This road closure is required to facilitate the holding of The King John’s Summer Prom at Trim Castle in Trim, Co. Meath
DURATION
The closure will be as listed below:
The R898-0 (Castle Street) from its junction with Finnegan’s Way to its junction with the R160-0 (Trim Ring Road) from 6:00p.m. to 11:59p.m. on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd July, 2017.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
Travelling South from Market Street to the Ring Road
From Market Street, take Castle Street (R898-0) heading south to Finnegan’s Way; turn right onto Finnegan’s Way and continue on to Emmet Street (R161-87) and turn left. Continue on Emmet Street to Patrick Street (L8015-0) and turn left, continue on Patrick Street to the Ring Road.
Travelling from the Ring Road to Market Street
Take the Ring Road south to Patrick Street (L8015-0) and turn right, continue on Patrick Street and turn right onto Emmet Street (R161-87), continue on Emmet Street to Market Street.
Local diversion and information signage will be in place.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
