Traffic / Roads Update - Proposed temporary closure of roads in Trim for Meath Heritage Cycle Tour - submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing on or before 20th June 2018

PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS - TRIM

 

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the following roads listed below to through traffic on the date and times specified.

 

Saturday 28th July 2018  

  • R898-0 Castle Street, Trim from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.

   R898-0 (Castle Street) from the junction with the R160-1 (Trim Ring Road) to the junction with Finnegan’s Way

   (Townland of Manorland (1st Division)

 

  • L2204-14 and L2204-0 Laracor to Scurlogstown from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.

   L2204-14 & L2204-0 from the junction with the R158-21 (Summerhill/Kilcock Road) to the junction with the R154-28 (Dublin Road)

   (Townlands of Scurlogstown, Freffan’s Little, Stokestown, Knightbrook and Laracor)

 

Sunday 29th July 2018 

  • R898-0 Castle Street, Trim from 6:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

   R898-0 (Castle Street) from the junction with the R160-1 (Trim Ring Road) to the junction with Finnegan’s Way

   (Townland of Manorland (1st Division)

 

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES FOR THE R898-0

R160-1 to Finnegan’s Way

Travelling from the R160-1 (Trim Ring Road) to Finnegan’s’ Way take the R160-1 heading south, turn right onto the L8015-0 (Patrick Street), turn right onto the R161-87 (Emmet Street), turn right onto Finnegan’s Way, turn left onto the R898-0.

 

Finnegan’s Way to R160-1

Travelling from Finnegan’s Way to the R160-1 (Trim Ring Road) take Finnegan’s Way heading west, turn left onto the R161-87 (Emmet Street), turn left onto the L8015-0 (Patrick Street), turn left onto the R160-1 (Trim Ring Road).

 

Closure is to facilitate the Meath Heritage Cycle Tour.

Diversion and information signage will be in place.

 

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.

 

Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing to the Transportation Department, Meath County Council, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co. Meath C15 Y291 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 20th June, 2018.
