Traffic / Roads Update - Footpath and pedestrian crossing works at Dublin Road, Trim - commenced on 21st June and will be for approximately 6 weeks

Update:  29/06/2018 10a.m.

Works commenced on the Dublin Rd (R154) in Trim on 21st June 2018.

Works are located between Community School and Friars Park.

The works consist of upgrading existing footpaths, the provision of new footpaths, Traffic Calming measures and Zebra Crossings along with associated civil works.

The duration of works will be approximately 6 weeks.

Motorists are advised that there will be temporary traffic management (temporary traffic lights) in place for the duration of the works.

Meath County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused .

The works consist of upgrading existing footpaths, the provision of new footpaths, traffic calming measures and zebra crossings along with associated civil works.

Works will take approx 9 weeks.

Commuters are advised that there will be temporary traffic management (temporary traffic lights) in place for the duration of the works.

The proposed works at Dublin Road, Trim, Co. Meath commencing on Monday 25th June 2018 include

 

  • Upgrade of 330m of existing footpath

  • Construction of 75m of new footpath

  • Construction of a new raised ramp zebra crossing with belisha beacons

  • Upgrade of existing pedestrian crossing to include new raised ramp zebra crossing with belisha beacons

  • Road resurfacing, associated road markings and signage

  • Installation of all associated street furniture

  • All associated site services.
