Traffic / Roads Update - Proposed Temporary Closure of R161-87 (Market St), L8015-0 (Patrick St), R161-87 (Emmet St) & R898-0 (Castle St), Trim, Co. Meath to facilitate the holding of a St. Patrick’s Parade in Trim - Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing on or before Wednesday 27th February

Proposed Temporary Closure of R161-87 (Market St.), L8015-0 (Patrick St.),

R161-87 (Emmet St.) & R898-0 (Castle St.), Trim, Co. Meath

 

Meath County Council intends to temporarily close the R161-87 (Market St), L8015-0 (Patrick St), R161-87 (Emmet St) & R898-0 (Castle St), Trim, Co. Meath.

 

The closures will be as listed below on Sunday 17th March 2019.

 

(a) The R161-87 (Market St.) from its junction with Emmet St. to its junction with Castle St. from 12.00p.m. to 5.00p.m.

 

(b) The L8015-0 (Patrick St.) from its junction with the R161 (Emmet St.) to its junction with the R160 (Ring Road) from 2.30p.m. to 5.00p.m.

 

(c) The R161-87 (Emmet St.) from its junction with L8015-0 (Patrick St.) to its junction with Market St. from 2.30p.m. to 5.00p.m.

 

(d) The R898-0 (Castle St.) from its junction with R161-87 (Market St.) to its junction with Finnegan’s Way from 2.30p.m. to 5.00p.m.

 

This road closure is required to facilitate the holding of a St. Patrick’s Parade in Trim, Co Meath.

 

Alternative Routes:

Local diversion and information signage will be in place.

 

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.

 

Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing to the Transportation Department, Meath County Council, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co. Meath C15 Y291 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before Wednesday, 27th February 2019.
