TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
NATIONAL ROAD N3 FROM N52 TO DERVER
Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the National Road N3 to through traffic on the Kells Bypass from the N52 Roundabout to the Derver Roundabout.
This closure is required to facilitate maintenance work on the N3 situated between the two roundabouts.
Duration: The proposed closure will be 24 hours a day for 2 weeks commencing at 7.00a.m. on Monday, 22nd September, 2014.
Times of the closure as follows:
Monday, 22nd September, 2014 at 7.00a.m. to Friday, 3rd October, 2014 at 11.00p.m.
- Travelling south on N3, take the second exit at Derver Roundabout and continue south on R147 to the Virginia Road Roundabout on N52 Kells Bypass Junction. Take the 3rd exit onto the N52 Mullingar Road and continue to M3 Roundabout. For Oldcastle bound traffic, at Virginia Road Roundabout take the second exit onto R147 to Kells, continue approx. 800m to Supervalu and take right, continue to R163 Oldcastle Road junction and turn right.
- Travelling north on M3 take third exit on 1st N52 Roundabout and first exit on the 2nd N52 Roundabout onto N52 Kells Bypass, continue to the R147 Virginia Road Roundabout, take the first exit onto the R147 north and continue to N3 Derver Roundabout. For Oldcastle bound traffic, at R147 Virginia Road Roundabout take the third exit onto R147 to Kells, continue approx. 800m to Supervalu and turn right, continue to R163 Oldcastle Road junction and turn right.
Diversion signs will be in place.
Local Access: Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
