Temporary Closure of Roads L74023 Nobber Rd and L6837 Carlanstown Rd., in Kilmainhamwood
Bundled Wastewater Collection Systems for County Meath Contract A Completion Civil Works
Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L6837, Carlanstown Road, Kilmainhamwood and the L74023, Nobber Road, Kilmainhamwood, County Meath, from a point 300 metres south of their intersection (on the L6837) in Kilmainhamwood to a point 300 metres east of their intersection (on the L74023).
This closure is necessary for the completion of the Kilmainhamwood Sewerage Scheme.
Duration:
This road closure (in stages) will extend from Monday 1st December 2014 to Friday 19th December 2014 both days inclusive.
Alternative Routes:
Stage 1: Road L6837, Carlanstown Road Closed:
- From Kilmainhamwood towards Carlanstown Road, Altmush / Cruicetown
The traffic is to be diverted from Kilmainhamwood onto the L2802, Cormeen Rd to its junction with the L28021 in Tavis townland and thence southwestwards to the L6808 in Ardmaghbreague townland and thence southeastwards to the L68371 in Robertstown townland and thence northeastwards to Altmush , Cruicetown and the Carlanstown Road.
- From Carlanstown Road, Altmush / Cruicetown towards Kilmainhamwood
The traffic will be diverted in the opposite direction to the foregoing
Stage 2: Road L74023, Nobber Rd Closed:
- From Kilmainhamwood towards Nobber:
The traffic is to be diverted from Kilmainhamwood Main Street onto the L6802 Kingscourt Road to its junction with the R162 Nobber to Kingscourt Road at Poles Crossroads and thence southwards to Nobber.
- From Nobber to Kilmainhamwood:
Traffic will be diverted along the R162 as far as the Poles Crossroads and thence southwards on the L6802 towards Kilmainhamwood.
Note: Diversion signs will be in place

Residents and Property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period
