Traffic / Roads Update - Temporary Road Closure - Ratoath - for St. Patrick's Day Parade, Tuesday 17th March

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS IN CONNECTION WITH A ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE IN RATOATH, CO. MEATH

 

ROADS  ACT  1993

(ROADS  REGULATIONS  1994)

 

Meath County Council hereby gives notice that Ratoath Chamber of Commerce has applied to the Council for an order to temporarily close the roads listed below to through traffic on the date and times specified. These intended temporary road closures are necessary to facilitate the holding of a St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Ratoath.

 

Date and Times of intended Road Closures and Roads affected:

 

Tuesday 17th March 2015.

 

(a) The R-125 from the Steeplechase Hill Roundabout to the Jamestown Roundabout

 11.00 to 14.00 Tuesday 17th March 2015.

 

(b) The R-155 from it’s junction with the L-1006 (Skryne Road) to it’s junction with the

 L-1014 (roundabout at Tesco) 11.00 to 14.00 Tuesday 17th March 2015.

 

(c) The L-1006 (Skryne Road) from it’s junction with the R125 to it’s junction with the R155

 11.00 to 14.00 Tuesday 17th March 2015.

 

Alternative Routes:

 

Local diversions will be signposted.

 

Local Access:

 

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.

 

Anyone who wishes to object to the proposed temporary road closures should do so in writing to Meath County Council, Ratoath Municipal District, Dunshaughlin Civic Offices, Drumree Road, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. The deadline for receipt of objections is 12 noon Thursday 26th February 2015.
