Traffic / Roads Update - Temporary Road Closure - Dunboyne - for St. Patrick's Day Parade, Sunday 15th March

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS IN CONNECTION WITH A ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE IN DUNBOYNE, CO. MEATH
ROADS ACT 1993
(ROADS REGULATIONS 1994)
Meath County Council hereby gives notice that Dunboyne Festival Committee has applied to the Council for an order to temporarily close the roads listed below to through traffic on the date and times specified. These intended temporary road closures are necessary to facilitate the holding of a St. Patrick’s Parade in Dunboyne.
Date and Times of intended Road Closures and Roads affected:
Sunday 15th March 2015.
(a) The L-22191 (Industrial Estate Road) for a distance of 180m northwest of it’s junction with the L-2227(old Navan Road) from 12.00 to 16.00 Sunday 15th March 2015.
(b) The L-2227 from it’s junction with the L-22191 to it’s junction with the L-2228 (old R156) from 12.30 to 16.00 Sunday 15th March 2015.
(c) The L-2228 from it’s junction with the L-2227 to it’s junction with the L-2221 (Rooske Road) from 12.30 to 16.00 Sunday 15th March 2015.
Local diversions will be signposted.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
Anyone who wishes to object to the proposed temporary road closures should do so in writing to Meath County Council, Ratoath Municipal District, Dunshaughlin Civic Offices, Drumree Road, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. The deadline for receipt of objections is 12 noon Thursday 26th February 2015.
