Having given notice, Meath County Council has made an order to close the L2228 (old R156) in Dunboyne Village from its junction with the L2227 (old R157 - Navan/Maynooth Rd) for a distance of 100 metres east.
This closure is required to facilitate the staging of a 4 mile road race by the Dunboyne Athletic Club.

The proposed closure will take place from 2.45pm to 4pm on Sunday 29th March 2015
Alternative Routes
Diversion signs will be in place.
Local Access:
Residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
