TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
RATHMAIDEN ROAD (LOCAL ROAD L56034)
Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to close the L56034 at Rathmaiden Road, Higginstown.
This closure is required to facilitate remedial stability works to the retaining walls on Higginstown Culvert.
DURATION
The closure will commence on Monday, 20th April 2015 and will continue for a duration of 3 weeks.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
From East to West
The traffic is to be diverted south on the N2 to its junction with the L-5603, and then continue north on the L-5603 to the West side of the bridge
From West to East
The traffic is to be diverted south on the L-5603 to its junction with the N2, and then continue north on the N2 to the East side of the bridge
Diversion signs will be in place.
Local Access
Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
