Temporary Road Closure - Gilltown - Meath County Council intends to close the L-16011 at Lougher Road, Gilltown, Monday, 20th July, 2015 to Friday, 14th August, 2015 inclusive

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

LOUGHER ROAD (LOCAL ROAD L-16011)

 

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the L-16011 at Lougher Road, Gilltown.

This closure is required to facilitate remedial works to Gilltown Bridge at Gilltown.

Duration:  The closure will commence on Monday, 20th July, 2015 and will continue for a duration of 4 weeks to Friday, 14th August, 2015 inclusive.

Alternative Routes: 

-        From North to South

The traffic is to travel north on the L-16011 for a distance of 200m to its junction with the L-56081. At the junction, turn west onto the L-56081 and travel for a distance of 1,440m to its junction with the L-5608. Turn south at the junction and travel for a distance of 2,500m on the L-5608, continuing for a further distance of 550m on the L-5609 to its junction with the L-16011. At the junction of the L-5609 and the L-16011, turn north onto the L-16011 and travel for a distance of 2,100m.

-        From South to North

The traffic is to travel south on the L-16011 for a distance of 2,100m to its junction with the L-5609. At the junction, turn west onto the L-5609 for a distance of 550m, continuing on for a further distance of 2,500m on the L-5608 to its junction with the L-56081. At the junction turn east onto the L-56081 and continue for a distance of 1,440m to the junction with the L-16011. At the junction, turn south onto the L-16011 and travel for 200m.

Diversion signs will be in place.

Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, County Hall, Railway Street, Navan, Co. Meath, or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 2nd July, 2015.
