Traffic / Roads Update - Temporary Road Closure - Dunshaughlin - 1.00p.m. to 11.00p.m. on Saturday 26th September 2015. This closure is required to facilitate the hosting of the Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

R-147 (DUNSHAUGHLIN VILLAGE)

 

Having given Notice, Meath County Council has made an order closing the R147 (old N3) in Dunshaughlin Village to through traffic from its junction with the L2208 (Drumree Road)/R125 (Ratoath Road) to its junction with the L5029 (Lagore Road).

This closure is required to facilitate the hosting of the Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival.

Duration:  The proposed closure will take place from the 1.00p.m. to 11.00p.m. on Saturday, 26th September, 2015.

Alternative Routes:

  • Traffic Travelling southbound will be diverted towards the R125 Ratoath Road, then turn right onto the L5040 (Gransheen Road), then right onto the L5029 (Lagore Road) and left back onto the R147 (old N3).
  • Traffic Travelling northbound will be diverted right onto the L5029 (Lagore Road), then left onto the L5040 (Gransheen Road), then left onto the R125 and then right back onto the R147 (old N3).

Diversion signs will be in place.

Local Access:  Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
