Traffic / Roads Update - Monday, 11th July 2016 - Meath County Council intends to close the L-28140-8, Cross Carrick Street, in Kells to through traffic from its junction with Local Road L-28140-0, Church Hill, Kells to its junction with Regional Road R 147, Carrick Street, Kells.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

CROSS CARRICK STREET, KELLS (LOCAL ROAD L-28140-8)

FOR SITE INVESTIGATIONS WORKS

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the Local Road L-28140-8, Cross Carrick Street, in Kells to through traffic from its junction with Local Road L-28140-0, Church Hill, Kells to its junction with Regional Road R 147, Carrick Street, Kells.

This closure is required to facilitate Site Investigation works.

Duration:  The proposed closure will take place on Monday, 11th July 2016.

Alternative Route:

NORTH TO SOUTH – Traffic should use R147, Carrick Street, R147 Castle Street, L-2814-16 Market Street and L28140-0, Church Hill.

SOUTH TO NORTH – Traffic should use L28140-0 Church Lane, L-2814-30 Circular Road, R147 Lord Edward Street and R147 Carrick Street.

Diversion signs will be in place.

Local Access: Local residents and businesses will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.

Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Water Services Section, Meath County Council,  County Hall, Railway Street, Navan, Co. Meath, or by email to waterservices@meathcoco.ie on or before Wednesday,  15th June, 2016.
