TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
NUTTSTOWN ROAD (LOCAL ROAD L-5027)
Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the L-5027 at Nuttstown Road, Ballintry.
This closure is required to facilitate remedial works to Ballintry Bridge.
DURATION
The closure will commence on Monday, 15th August, 2016 and will continue for duration of 1 week.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
From South to North
The traffic is to be diverted west on the L-5026 to its junction with the L-1010, and then continue north on the L-1010 to its junction with the L-1008, and then east on the L-1008 to the North side of the bridge.
From North to South
The traffic is to be diverted west on the L-1008 to its junction with the L-1010, and then continue south on the L-1010 to its junction with the L-5026, and then east on the L-5026 to the South side of the bridge.
Diversion signs will be in place.
Local Access
Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Transportation Department, County Hall, Railway Street, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 AW81 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 27th July, 2016.
