TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
RATHCORE ROAD (LOCAL ROAD L-62261)
Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the L-62261 at Rathcore Road, Rathcore.
This closure is required to facilitate remedial works to Rathcore Bridge.
DURATION
The closure will commence on Monday, 22nd August, 2016 and will continue for a duration of 2 weeks.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
From East to West
The traffic is to be diverted south on the R-159 to its junction with the L-62263, and then continue west on the L-62263 to its junction with the L-6225, and then north on the L-6225 to the West side of the bridge .
From West to East
The traffic is to be diverted south on the L-6225 to its junction with the L-62263, and then continue east on the L-62263 to its junction with the R-159, and then north on the R-159 to the East side of the bridge.
Diversion signs will be in place.
Local Access
Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Transportation Department, County Hall, Railway Street, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 AW81 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 28th July, 2016.
