Traffic / Roads Update - Proposed Temporary Closure of the L-4020 (Enfield Road), Longwood, Co. MEATH - Meath County Council intends to temporarily close the L-4020 (Enfield Road, Longwood, Co. Meath)

Proposed Temporary Closure of the L-4020 (Enfield Road), Longwood, Co. MEATH

 

Meath County Council intends to temporarily close the L-4020 (Enfield Road, Longwood, Co. Meath).

Closure:  The closures will be as listed below;

  • L 4020-0 from the junction with the R160 to the junction with the L4020-2

(Townlands of Longwood, Ballin & Clongriffin)

  • L4020-2 from the junction with the L4020-0 to the junction with  L-80142-47

(Townlands of Longwood, Ballin & Clongriffin)

Period of Closure:  23rd August, 2016 from 10.00a.m. to 4.00p.m.

This road closure is required to facilitate works by Gas Network Ireland.

 Alternative Routes:

Longwood to Enfield: Take the R160 (Trim Road) from Longwood, turn right onto the L-80322-17, turn right onto the L-80142-28, turn right onto the L-80142-47, turn left onto the L-2226-0 for Enfield.

Enfield to Longwood: Turn right onto the L-80142-47, turn left onto L-80142-28, turn left onto the L-8032-20, turn left onto the R160 for Longwood.

Diversion and information signage will be in place.

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.

Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Meath County Council, Navan Civic Office, Watergate Street, Navan, Co. Meath C15 AW81 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 4.00p.m. on Thursday, 28th July, 2016.
