TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

 

RATHCORE ROAD (LOCAL ROAD L-62261)

 

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to close the L-62261 at Rathcore Road, Rathcore.

This closure is required to facilitate remedial works to Rathcore Bridge.

 

DURATION

The closure will commence on Monday, 22nd August 2016 and will continue for a duration of 2 weeks.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

From East to West

The traffic is to be diverted south on the R-159 to its junction with the L-62263, and then continue west on the L-62263 to its junction with the L-6225, and then north on the L-6225 to the West side of the bridge 

From West to East

The traffic is to be diverted south on the L-6225 to its junction with the L-62263, and then continue east on the L-62263 to its junction with the R-159, and then north on the R-159 to the East side of the bridge

 

Diversion signs will be in place.

 

 

Local Access

Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
