Proposed Temporary Closure of R147 (Dunshaughlin Village) Co. MEATH
Meath County Council intends to temporarily close the R147 (old N3) in Dunshaughlin Village.
The closures will be as listed below;
R147 (old N3) in Dunshaughlin Village from it’s junction with the L2208 (Drumree Rd)/R125 (Ratoath Rd) to it’s junction with the L5029 (Lagore Rd).
Period of Road Closure
13:30pm to 23:00pm Saturday 24th September 2016
This road closure is required to facilitate the hosting of the Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival.
Alternative Routes:
- Traffic Travelling southbound will be diverted towards the R125 Ratoath Rd, then turn right onto the L5040 (Gransheen Rd), then right onto the L5029 (Lagore Rd) and left back onto the R147 (old N3)
- Traffic Travelling northbound will be diverted right onto the L5029 (Lagore Rd), then left onto the L5040 (Gransheen Rd), then left onto the R125 and then right back onto the R147 (old N3).
Diversion and information signage will be in place.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Meath County Council, Navan Civic Office, WatergateStreet, Navan, Co. MeathC15 C821 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 12pm on Friday 19th August, 2016.
