PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF OLD CORNMARKET, NAVAN, CO. MEATH
Meath County Council intends to temporarily close Old Cornmarket, Navan, Co. Meath.
PERIOD OF ROAD CLOSURE
From 10.00a.m. on Wednesday, 14th December, 2016 to 6.00p.m. on Tuesday, 20th December, 2016.
This road closure is required to facilitate the provision of the Navan Christmas Market.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
From Circular Road
Continue to Roundabout taking the 3rd exit onto Railway Street (signed for Kells), continue on Railway Street turning right onto Trimgate Street, continue to Market Square where diversion ends.
From Ludlow Street
Turn right onto Church Hill, continue on Fairgreen Road turning right onto Circular Road, continue on Circular Road taking the 3rd exit onto Railway Street, continue on Railway Street turning right onto Trimgate Street, continue to Market Square where diversion ends.
Diversion and information signage will be in place.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Meath County Council, Navan Civic Office, Town Hall, Watergate Street, Navan, Co. Meath C15 C821 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 4.00p.m. on Friday, 4th November, 2016.
