PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF L2228 (OLDR156) IN DUNBOYNE VILLAGE FROM IT’S JUNCTION WITH THE L2227 (OLD R157 – NAVAN/MAYNOOTH ROAD) FOR A DISTANCE OF A 100M
Meath County Council intends to temporarily close the L2228 (OLDR156) in Dunboyne Village from its junction with the L2227 (OLD R157 – NAVAN/MAYNOOTH ROAD) for a distance of 100M.

The closure will be as listed below;
(a) The L2228 (OldR156) in Dunboyne Village from its junction with the L2227 (OldR157-Navan/Maynooth Road) for a distance of 100m
Period of Road Closure: The proposed closure will take place on Sunday 26th March 2017 from 3.00pm to 3.45pm
This road closure is required to facilitate the staging of a 4 mile road race by the Dunboyne Athletic Club.
Alternative Routes
Diversion signs will be in place.
Local Access:
Residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure may be made in writing to the Transportation Department, Meath County Council, County Hall, Railway Street, Navan, Co. Meath C15 AW81 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before Friday 24th February.
