(Traffic Management & Pedestrian/Cyclist Scheme)
Meath County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 and Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009, hereby gives notice that it has prepared a scheme for the provision of a Traffic Management and Pedestrian/Cycle facilities Scheme along the R155 between the Fairyhouse Rd junction and the Roundabout at Somerville in the Town of Ratoath, with minor tie ins on all adjacent roads.
The Scheme provides for;
a) Reconfiguration of the existing roundabout with raised speed tables & zebra crossing on
all arms
b) Provision of shared surface for pedestrians/cyclist’s facility on the eastern side
The plans and particulars of the proposed scheme will be available for inspection during office hours at the offices of the Local Authority listed below:
(a) Meath County Council, Planning Department, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co Meath. C15 Y291
(b) Ratoath Municipal District, Dunshaughlin Civic Office, Drumree Road, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath A85 XK20
From Monday 6th March, 2017 to Friday 7th April, 2017 and will be available for purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the offices of Meath County Council, listed below:

Representations in relation to the proposed works, may be made in writing to the road authority as follows: The Director of Services, Meath County Council, Planning Department, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co. Meath or emailed to planning@meathcoco.ie on or before 5pm on Friday 7th April, 2017.
