TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF L2228 (OLDR156) IN DUNBOYNE VILLAGE

 FROM ITS JUNCTION WITH THE L2227 (OLD R157 – NAVAN/MAYNOOTH ROAD)

FOR A DISTANCE OF A 100M

 

Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L2228 (Old R156) in Dunboyne Village from its junction with the L2227 (Old R157 – Navan/Maynooth Road) for a distance of a 100m.

 

Period of Road Closure

The proposed closure will take place on Sunday, 26th March, 2017 from 3.00p.m. to 3.45p.m.

 

This road closure is required to facilitate the staging of a 4 mile road race by the Dunboyne Athletic Club.

 

Alternative Routes

Diversion signs will be in place.

 

Local Access

Residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
