TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
M3 MOTORWAY, Between Exit 7 and Exit 8 (Northbound and Southbound)
M3: CLONEE TO NORTH OF KELLS MOTORWAY SCHEME
Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the M3 Motorway between Exit 7 (Blundelstown) and Exit 8 (Kilcarn Interchange)
This closure is required to facilitate remedial works to part of the M3 Motorway Scheme.
DURATION
The proposed closure will be over a 12 day period commencing on Monday 19th June to Friday 30th June.
Times of the closure as follows: - 22:00hrs – 06:00hrs
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
M3 Full Closure Northbound direction between exit 7 and 8:
Take exit 7 ramp, on roundabout take 3rd exit direction R147 Kilmessan, next roundabout take second exit direction R147 Kilmessan, drive for approximate 5.1km until next roundabout and take 1st exit direction M3 motorway to join the motorway there.
M3 Full Closure Southbound direction between exit 8 and 7.
Take ramp at exit 8, on the roundabout take 2nd exit direction R147 Dunshaughlin, drive straight for about 5.1 km, on next roundabout take 1st exit direction M3 Motorway Dublin..
Diversion signs will be in place.
Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Meath County Council, County Hall, Navan, Co Meath C15AW81, or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 31st May 2017.
