Traffic / Roads Update - Meath County Council has made an order to close the N51 Dual Carraigeway between the M3/N51 Navan Delvin Interchange and N51 Andy Connolly Roundabout, Navan - on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th August and Monday 14th August until Friday 18th August from 21:00hrs - 06:00hrs

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

N51 DUAL CARRAIGEWAY, between the M3/N51 Navan Delvin Interchange and N51, Andy Connolly Roundabout Navan (Eastbound and Westbound)

 

 

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to close the N51 Dual Carraigeway between theM3/N51 Navan Delvin Interchange and N51, Andy Connolly Roundabout, Navan.

This closure is required to facilitate remedial works as part of the HD 28 Resurfacing & Retexturing Schemes 2017

 

DURATION

The proposed closure will be over a 7 day period commencing on Thursday 10th August. The closure period will cover Thursday 10th and Friday 11th August, and Monday 14th August until Friday 18th August.

 

Times of the closure as follows:    21:00hrs – 06:00hrs

                                                                       

Note: The N51 Dual Carriageway will not be closed at the same times as the L-34145 Clogherboy Link Road

 

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

 

Travelling Eastbound from the M3:

Exiting from the M3 motorway, at the roundabouts follow directions signposted for N51 Athboy/Delvin, travel westbound on the N51 for a distance of 770m. Turn left onto the L-1014. Travel along the L-1014 for a distance of 3.5km returning back to N51, Andy Connolly Roundabout, Navan.

 

Travelling Eastbound from Athboy/Delvin:

Turn right onto the L-1014. Travel along the L-1014 for a distance of 3.5km returning back to N51, Andy Connolly Roundabout, Navan.

 

Travelling Eastbound:

At the N51, Andy Connolly Roundabout take the exit signposted Mullaghboy, L-1014. Travel along the L-1014 for a distance of 3.5km returning back to N51.

 

Diversion signs will be in place.
