Traffic / Roads Update - Roadworks Speed Limit Order: N2 Cushinstown Pavement Resurfacing Scheme - The temporary speed limits will apply from 13th November 2017 to 22nd December 2017

ROAD WORKS SPEED LIMIT ORDER

N2 CUSHINSTOWN PAVEMENT RESURFACING SCHEME, CO. MEATH

 

Notice is hereby given that in exercise of powers under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, and in the interest of road safety, Meath County Council has made a Road Works Speed Limit Order at the locations described in the schedule below.

 

FIRST SCHEDULE

A section of the N2: in the townland of Cushinstown and Balrath, in respect of which the speed limits shall be sixty (60) kilometres per hour.

  1. For a distance of 200m from a point 1040m north of its junction with the R152 to a point 1240m north of that junction.
  2. For a distance of 200m from a point 345m north of its junction with the R153 to a point 545m north of that junction.

 

SECOND SCHEDULE

A section of the N2: in the townland of Cushinstown, Gilliamstown, Waterside Great, Ballymagarvey and Balrath, in respect of which the speed limits shall be fifty (50) kilometres per hour.

  1. For a distance of 5300m from a point 1240m north of its junction with the R152 to a point 345m north of its junction with the R153

 

The temporary speed limits will apply from 13th November, 2017 to 22nd December, 2017 to facilitate the N2 Cushinstown Pavement Resurfacing Scheme.

 

The Chief Executive shall have regard to any representations that are made to her in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit Order.
