Proposed Temporary Closure of Trimgate Street, Navan Co. Meath

 

Meath County Council has made an order to close Trimgate Street, Navan, Co. Meath from 6:00p.m. on Thursday, 23rd November, 2017 to 6:00a.m. on Monday, 27th November, 2017.

This road closure is required to facilitate the provision of the Navan Christmas Market.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

 

From Railway Street

Continue onto Canon Row to roundabout taking the 3rd exit onto Abbey Road (signed for Town Centre), continue on to roundabout, take 2nd exit onto Kennedy Road. Continue on Kennedy Road to Trimgate Street where diversion ends.

 

From Brews Hill

Turn left onto Canon Row. Continue on Canon Row to roundabout taking the 3rd exit onto Abbey Road (signed for Town Centre), continue on to roundabout, take 2nd exit onto Kennedy Road. Continue on Kennedy Road to Trimgate Street where diversion ends.

 

For HGV’s Larger Vehicles travelling from the West

At traffic lights at junction of Hospital Road/Boreen Keel, turn left onto Boreen Keel. Continue on Boreen Keel to roundabout taking the 2nd exit onto Abbey Road (signed for Town Centre), continue on to roundabout, take 2nd exit onto Kennedy Road. Continue on Kennedy Road to Trimgate Street where diversion ends.

 

Diversion and information signage will be in place.

 

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
