Civil Defence Training Classes
Training programmes include:
- First Aid
- Rescue skills
- Radio Communications
- Map Reading skills
- Fire-fighting skills
- Welfare and catering
- Radiological monitoring and sampling
- Search skills
- Water search using boats and kayaks
Training takes place on a weekly basis between September and June at the following locations:
- Ashbourne Co. Council Offices - Tuesday nights 8.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
- Duleek Parish Rooms – Tuesday nights 8.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m.
- Dunboyne Old School – Monday nights 8.30 p.m. – 10.30 p.m.
- Dunshaughlin Community Centre – Wednesday nights 8.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m.
- Kells Iona Hall – Thursday nights 8.30 p.m. – 10.30 p.m.
- Navan Fire Station, Abbey Rd., – Wednesday nights 8.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m.
- Oldcastle Credit Union Board Room - Thursday nights 8.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
- Trim Fire Station – Monday nights 8.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m.
