Electoral Register FAQs

I applied to go on the Register last year. Does this mean that I will be registered every year?

The Register of Electors is a new document compiled each year and individuals should check and ensure that their details are correct on the Register at Draft stage (published on 1st November) and at Live stage (published on 1st February) each year, by viewing a copy of the Register at Post Offices, Libraries, Garda Stations and Local Authority offices, by contacting the Register of Electors office  or online at www.checktheregister.ie.
