Dogs Currently in Meath Dog Pound

Dogs in the pound have 5 days to be reclaimed by their owners from the day they were taken in as a stray. If they are not reclaimed, they will be up for adoption by the Meath Dog Pound. However, they may be put to sleep if they are not adopted soon.

Although these dogs need a home urgently, and rehoming can be arranged when the 5 days time period is up, in the meantime, IT WOULD BE PREFERABLE IF THE DOGS FOUND COULD BE REUNITED WITH THEIR OWNER.

We give the dogs names - so if you see your dog in these photos, they MAY HAVE A DIFFERENT NAME on this website! Please contact the Dog Pound if you see your dog in the photos.
