Housing Grants

IMPORTANT NOTICE

  Please note that Meath County Council’s Housing Grants Scheme, consisting of the Housing Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability, the Housing Aid for Older People Grant and the Mobility Aids Grant, is currently closed and will not open in 2011. 

 While  Meath County Council received a Housing Grants allocation from the Department of the Environment, Community & Local Government in February 2011, due to the high level of applications received in 2010 and approval commitments entered into in 2010, the bulk of the 2011 Housing Grants allocation is committed against payment of such approvals and the remaining limited balance of the 2011 Housing Grants allocation has been fully committed to grant approvals for a number of emergency applications currently on hand.  Therefore, and unfortunately, Meath County Council is not in a position to accept any further grant applications in 2011.
