Disruption to Water Supply in Navan Area - Disruption to Water Supply in Navan Area

As a result of the substantially reduced levels of water in the Proudstown Reservoir, there is a disruption to the supply of water affecting the the following areas: Wilkinstown Kilberry Demailstown Graigs Lane Proudstown Road Dunmoe Donaghmore Lane Water Tankers are currently being placed at the following locations: 2 at Kilberry Church 1 Wilkinstown School 1 Adjacent to O’Neill’s garage Wilkinstown 1 Round Tower at Dunmoe 1 Graigs Lane ( Slane Road end ) Meath Co Council are currently investigating the cause of the substantial increase in demand and would appeal to Members of the Public to conserve water, check all water supplies for evidence of leaks and where appropriate arrange for any necessary repairs to be carried out immediately. Once adequate levels in the reservoir have been restored, full supply of water in the affected areas will resume. The Meath Local Authorities Lo call Emergency out of hours number is 1890 445 335.
