PUBLIC NOTICE: Extension to Road Closure on N51 Navan to Slane - Closure now extended to Monday March 15th 2010

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS
Roads Act, 1993 (Roads Regulations 1994)
Meath County Council and Navan Town Council have made on order to extend the temporary Road Closure on the N51-203 from its junction with the R162 Kingscourt Road (at the Round O) to its junction with the R163 west of Slane Village.
Reason:
The extension to the temporary road closure is to facilitate road realignment works.
Duration:
The extended closure will continue from midnight Saturday 27th February 2010 to midnight Monday 15th March 2010
Alternative Routes:
Traffic traveling from Slane towards Navan should turn right onto the R163 (west of Slane Village) and continue along this road to the junction with the R162 at Kilberry and turn left. Continue along this road into Navan.
Traffic traveling to Slane should travel on the R162 Kingscourt Road and continue on this road to the junction with the R163 at Kilberry and turn right. Continue along the R163 to the junction with the N51 and turn left towards Slane.
Diversion signs will be placed. Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
