Traffic / Roads Update - Schedule for Road Works Speed Limit Order - Part of the Local roads L-4003, L-40022, L–40032, L–40031, L-40035 and L-40034

RATHCAIRN SEWERAGE SCHEME
ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 2004
Notice is hereby given that in exercise of the powers vested under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 and in the interests of road safety,
Meath County Council has made orders to apply road works speed limits at the locations described in the schedule to the order
The Road works speed limit to be applied shall be fifty (50) kilometres per hour.
Part of the Local roads L - 4003, L - 40022, L – 40032, L – 40031, L - 40035 and L - 40034.
(i) The Athboy / Dunderry road (L - 4003) from 332 metres southeast of its junction with the Navan / Delvin Road N51 to a point 207m east of its junction with the Clonymore Road L - 40032.
(ii) The Local Road, (L - 40031) at the Hill of Ward, from 50 metres north of its junction with the Athboy / Dunderry Road, (L - 4003) to a point 50 metres south of the same junction.
(iii) TheClonymore Road, (L – 40032) from its junction with theDunderry Road, (L – 4003) to a point 50 metres to the northwest of the junction.
(iv) All roads within Rathcairn village bound by a line commencing from a point on the Hill of Ward / Kilbride Road (L- 40022),
(a) 750 metres northeast of its junction with theLocal Road, L – 40023:-
(b) to a point on the Local Road (L40034), 760 metres to the northeast of its junction with theLocal Road, L – 40031.
(c) to a point on the Hill of Ward /Kilbride Road(L-40022) at its junction with theDunderry Road, (L4003).
The temporary speed limit shall apply from Saturday 21st January 2012 to Friday 29th June 2012 both dates inclusive.
The County Manager shall have regard to any representations that are made to him in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit Order.
