Traffic / Roads Update - Temporary Road Closure - Tues 7 August to Friday 5 Oct - Haggard Street (R154), Trim

Notice is hereby given that Trim Town Council intends to close Haggard Street (R154), Trim, to through traffic from the junction of the Kildalkey Road to the junction of the entrance to Griffin Park.
This closure is necessary for the reconstruction of Haggard Street.
Duration:
The above section will be closed to through traffic from Tuesday, 7th August 2007 to Friday, 5th October 2007.
Alternative Routes:
• All traffic from the Kildalkey Road shall be diverted via Athboy Terrace (R154), Ring Road, Navangate Street (R161) and
Haggard Street (R154) to the junction of Griffin Park.
• Temporary traffic lights will be in place to operate on Haggard Street (R154) as a two-way single lane carriageway on a stop go arrangement.
• All Athboy road traffic shall continue on the Ring Road to Navangate Street (R161) and Haggard Street (R154) to the junction of Griffin Park.
• All Kells Road (Railway Road) shall be diverted via Athboy Terrace (R154), Ring Road, Navangate Street (R161) and Haggard Street (R154) to the junction of Griffin Park.
• Northbound traffic from Town Centre shall be diverted via Mill Street, High Street and Haggard Street (R154) to the junction of Griffin Park.
• High Street shall remain two-way for the duration of the closure.
• Access to the Haggard Street car park, shall be from High Street/Navangate Street end of Haggard Street.
Note: Diversion signs will be in place.
Local Access:
Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period and businesses shall operate as normal.
Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Town Clerk, Trim Town Council, Mornington House, Summerhill Rd, Trim, Co. Meath on or before 5.00pm on Wednesday, 4th July 2007.
