Notification of Discontinued use of Site Assessors Panel

Meath County Council has decided to discontinue the operation of the Site Assessors panel which was established some time ago for the purpose of conducting site suitability assessments and providing the associated recommendations, certifications and designs thereafter.

 The Water Services (Amendment) Bill 2011 was published in November 2011 and providing for a registration and inspection system for septic tanks and such legislation covering water improvement protection measures may influence the Council in terms of the establishment of future panels of assessors.

The professional integrity of any person who stood approved on the panel is not effected by its discontinuance at this time.
