Teacher and Lifeguards Courses

Kells Lifesaving Club is a small but very hard working and successful club and in 2010 Kells Lifesaving Club won the John McKenna Shield for the most Bronze Medallion Certificates achieved.

Senior Lifesaving

Monday night at 7.00pm.

Junior Lifesaving

Saturday 1.00pm.

Start dates for courses and details can be obtained from the pool office.

Upcoming Courses:

The following courses are run regularly at the pool:

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • Assistant teachers of swimming
  • Teacher of swimming
  • Helper course for Disability swim teaching
  • Assistant Swim Teacher for swimming for Disabled
