Newgrange Lodge is a unique venue that caters for both the independent tourist and groups alike. Located overlooking the world famous UNESCO sites of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth and less than a minute’s walk to the Heritage centre and entrance to these amazing sites.

We are ideally located in the heart of the Boyne Valley, the Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the amazing sites that this area has to offer including the Battle of the Boyne centre and estate, Slane Village and the Hill of Slane where St. Patrick is said to have lit the Pascal fires. You can also sample a drop of Slane Castle Whiskey during a visit to Slane Castle itself. We are only a 15 minute drive to Monasterboice which is said to be the one of the finest remaining examples of a Celtic High Cross in Ireland. Trim Castle and the Hill of Tara are approximately a half hour drive away.

The lodge formerly an old farmhouse was lovingly restored to accommodate up to 100 people in a mix of twin, double, triple and family en suite rooms. Our bedrooms are comfortably furnished with tv’s, self adjustable timers for the under floor heating and power showers.

Enjoy good Irish Hospitality and a homely environment during your trip to Meath. There are also plenty of activities in the area for the younger members of the family including Funtasia, Ireland’s largest indoor water and amusement park or visit Tayto Theme Park
In Ashbourne, only a 20 minute drive from the Lodge.

Groups
We offer superb group rates and our facilities are ideal to cater for any sort of group including school groups, youth groups, religious groups, retreat weekends and team building weekends. We also offer a number of activity packages tailored to suit your requirements.

Our dorm style rooms consist of 6, 8 and 10 bed dorms with en suite bathrooms. We have a number of recreation rooms. Groups enjoy complimentary use of our conference/workshop room for all group bookings.

Exclusive Hire
The Lodge may be booked exclusively for groups on a nightly basis and we are offering 25% off the cost of hiring the Lodge between March and June 30th . Enjoy a further 10% discount if you hire the Lodge for 2 nights
