Located in the secluded heart of North Co. Kildare, just off the M4 near Enfield, lies the beautiful Moyvalley Estate. With a rich and colourful history that stretches back over 400 years, lands at Moyvalley Estate were originally granted to the O’More Family by Elizabeth 1st in 1574.

Just one of the prestigious families to be associated with Moyvalley Estate, the O’Mores and their descendents, the More O'Ferralls, remained in procession of the Estate until the 1960’s when ownership passed to the famed Bewley family, owners of the renowned cafes. Other famous names to be linked to Moyvalley Estate throughout its history include Patrick Sarsfield, who married into the More O'Ferrall Family and President Douglas Hyde, who, during his presidency, was a guest at many hunting parties on the Estate.
