Athboy St. Patrick's Day Parade 17th March

This year Athboy proudly celebrates its 28th St. Patrick's Day Parade, a great achievement for our small town.

The 28th Parade will take place on Thursday 17th March, 2011 at 12:30pm.

Entry forms to nominate your chosen Community Person of the year are now in selected shops throughout the town.

The organising committee is hoping for a spectacular display to mark the 28th anniversary, and is anticipating that all businesses, clubs and organisations in and around the town enter a float of display. There are prizes for the best presented for the following:

Commercial enterprise
Most artistic float
Best presented sport/Walking club
Most entertaining entry
Most topical entry
Best costume/Comic
Best open/Unusual entry

The presentation prizes have this year been chosen and will be revealed very soon!
