Oldbridge County Fair, Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre, Monday May 7th May

Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre, Oldbridge, Co. Meath

Bank Holiday Monday May 7th May from 11am to 5pm

Round off your May Bank Holiday break at the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre at the Oldbridge Country Fair. Participate in a day-long
programme of events and activities, when Oldbridge Country Fair returns to delight families, dog-lovers, anglers, gardeners and those who want to learn more about military history and country pursuits. Set in the magnificent grounds of Oldbridge House, one of Meath’s largest parklands will come alive with dazzling displays, demonstrations, workshops, competitions and music.

Last year the Oldbridge Country Fair was enjoyed by thousands of people from near and far. The 2012 fair is sure to draw the crowds again with ongoing events and performances from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and over 20 food and craft stalls. To round off the day, relax with some refreshments from the Brambles Tea Pavilion whilst listening to the magical music of Trio Elatha as they perform contemporary and classical pieces in the Walled Garden.

Ample free parking available on site. Free admission to the Country Fair. A small entry fee will be payable to Drogheda Animal Rescue for those entering dogs in the Fun Dog Show.

Set aside the May Bank Holiday Monday to spend a family fun day at Oldbridge Country Fair, the ideal end to a long weekend. Come early to make sure you don’t miss out on all that is on offer.
