Meath Food Showcase – Bia na Mí takes place on Thursday, 3rd May from 3 pm to 9 pm in the Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells. Admission is free and Kells Town Council has confirmed that parking in the town will be free from 2 pm on the day.
The Showcase will show consumers - as well as buyers from major supermarket chains and hotel groups - what Meath offers in terms of high quality food production and processing. There will be plenty of tastings and samples available for you to try, as well as keenly priced bargains. Thirty-five food producers and processors based in the county will take part. They range from start-up enterprises to large scale producers exporting world-wide. Our legendary football manager, Seán Boylan, will be Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker on the evening.
Meath Food Showcase – Bia na Mí is supported by Meath County Council together with active involvement from Meath Partnership, Meath Tourism, Kells Chamber of Commerce, Bord Bia and the Headfort Arms Hotel. During the event Meath Partnership will announce details of their new support programme for start-up food processing enterprises, under the Leader Programme.
