Don't miss our St. Patrick's Day Festivities!
Did you know St.Patrick was a Meath Man?
At the beginning of the 5th Century AD, our St. Patrick picked from the green grassy slopes of our Hill of Tara, a shamrock. The Hill of Tara is on our doorstep and that little shamrock is our National Emblem. Can you think of a better reason for a party in March? The perfect reason for us all to have some fun.
On March 17th this year we will be among the 150 million people worldwide who celebrate our patron St. Patrick. Unlike the rest of the millions we have the chance to celebrate our St. Patrick in the very places where he walked and picked that shamrock, in our royal county Meath
This year Meath will be alive with festivities in the days culminating in one of 8 amazing parades taking place in the county on March 17th - see you there!
