Set on 104 acres of rolling meadows overlooking the Meath hills of Slane, Tara & Skryne. At Newrath Stud we want to provide our guests with a unique experience- be it watching thoroughbred horses being trained, to walking the grounds via the bridal path which is 2.5 miles around the perimeter of the farm, engaging in the on-goings of an equine farm or doing many of the on and offsite activities, we welcome you to enjoy this truly unique experience.

The self-catering Mews are set in an oval courtyard are designed and fitted out to the highest specifications, from marble floors throughout to an abundance of light from the large glazed screens overlooking the beautiful countryside.

Our Products and Services

Luxury Self Catering accommodation

Mews: 
2 Bed, 5 person:  2 units.
1 Bed, 2/3 person: 4 units.
5 Bed, 10 person: 1 unit.

On site activities
Livery service for hunting 40 Boxes.
Horse riding, lessons in the outdoor ménage.
Horse riding on the cross country gallop which is 2.0 miles
Horse riding lessons.
Horse riding on the jump cross gallops which will be adjacent cross country gallops.
Trekking on the recreational path 2.2 miles long.
Walking, Running or cycling the recreational path.
Animal husbandry, tending to the poultry, or feeding / tending to the other farm animals.
Market Garden, assist with its maintenance.
Interact with the schooling of the horses, be it animal husbandry or just interacting with the trainer’s and staff, witnessing first hand how a professional stables operates.
Complementary weekly cookery courses.
An evening of local folklore for guests.
Jaunting cart & donkey rides on the farm
Come introduce yourself to Patrick Martin Horse Trainer and he will induct you on the Sport of Kings!
