Blue Jean Country Queen Festival, Athboy, 1st-4th June 2012

25th Anniversary Music-based Festival incorporating National and International Female Representatives with local community events and involvement. Free kids activities and entertainment. Fun for all the family.

Celebrating 25 years of Meath's most enjoyable and funtastic weekend. With Queens from all over Ireland and Europe contesting to be the Blue Jean Country Queen Winner, you too can join in with the fun and celebrations. See the Fancy Dress Football, judge the ladies on the Catwalk, rate the Queens' Karoke skills, join the congo line on the "tour de pubs", bring the kids for free daytime entertainment, facepainting, bungie run, bronco bull, clowning around, Puppet shows, kid karts, bouncy castles and much much more. Steady your hand and get into the Olympic spirit with Pro-Archery. Be energetic and try Tag Rugby or Ultimate Frisbee. Enjoy the spectacle and sounds of Traditional Irish Music and Dance.
